A room with a view

I opine, let our mind be that room and our thoughts, beliefs, values and perception be the view through that door! There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.

Our minds influence the key activity of the brain, which then influences everything; perception, cognition, thoughts and feelings, personal relationships they’re all a projection of YOU.

Don’t simply believe and blindly follow, question and stand against instead.

The first thing that struck my mind when the topic flashed was “oh dear lord!are we gonna summarize “A room with a view” by E.M Forster!” but then, as always,I put my philosophy worms into the serving plate and that’s what it reads like. 🙂

It is the function of art to renew our perception. What we are familiar with we cease to see. The writer shakes up the familiar scene, and, as if by magic, we see a new meaning in it. Do you get it,what I’m trying to do here? 😉

People spend time worrying about things they think they have to have and lose perception of what they do have. You can have all the money and material things you want. If you aren’t here to enjoy them, what good do they do? that’s where the answer is: live, love, laugh, read. Broaden your outlook, don’t judge ,start describing instead and see what your perception is,if it is vivid 😮 Oh boy! its gonna take you to places!

So always remind yourself of Brad Pitt’s statement:

I believe you make your day. You make your life. So much of it is all perception, and this is the form that I built for myself. I have to accept it and work within those compounds, and it’s up to me.

Keep working and keep rocking!
